“I don’t have time” is an excuse.

Sometimes people say they don’t have time for something. And I think, yes you do. You didn’t want to have enough time to do it. We all have time for exactly what we want to have time for. I know I’m not the first person to say this but I think it’s an important thing people need to realize, especially for something they actually want. Make time to do it. “I don’t have time” is the same thing as “I don’t want to”, but put into words others will accept and avoid further questioning. People don’t do just this to others, they do it to themselves and it somehow works. “I don’t have time to go back to school”.  What you’re actually saying is, you value other things more than going back to school. And that might be fine. But only if you consciously thought about that and decided it. But if you actually want something and don’t do it, “I don’t have time” is just an excuse.
